Netilat Yadayim (Washing of the Hands):
Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us regarding the washing of the hands.
Asher Yatzar (Blessing after Using the Restroom):
Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who formed man with wisdom and created in him many openings and cavities.
It is revealed and known before Your glorious throne that if but one of them were to be opened or closed improperly, it would be impossible to survive and stand before You even for a moment.
Blessed are You, Lord, who heals all flesh and performs wonders.
Elohai Neshamah (Thanking God for the Soul):
My God, the soul You placed within me is pure.
You created it, You formed it, You breathed it into me, and You preserve it within me.
You will eventually take it from me and restore it to me in the time to come.
As long as the soul is within me, I give thanks before You, Lord my God and God of my fathers, Master of all works, Lord of all souls.
Blessed are You, Lord, who restores souls to the dead.
Birkot Hashachar (Morning Blessings):
• Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who gives the rooster understanding to distinguish between day and night.
• …who has not made me a gentile.
• …who has not made me a slave.
• …who has not made me a woman.
• …who opens the eyes of the blind.
• …who clothes the naked.
• …who releases the bound.
• …who straightens the bent.
• …who spreads the earth upon the waters.
• …who has provided me with all my needs.
• …who firms the steps of man.
• …who girds Israel with strength.
• …who crowns Israel with glory.
• …who gives strength to the weary.
• …who removes sleep from my eyes and slumber from my eyelids.
Yehi Ratzon (Prayer for the Day):
May it be Your will, Lord my God and God of my fathers, to accustom me to Your Torah and make me cling to Your commandments.
Do not bring me to sin, transgression, or iniquity, nor to temptation or disgrace.
Let not the evil inclination control me.
Keep me far from a bad person and from a bad companion, and bring me close to the good inclination and a good companion.
Grant me, today and every day, grace, kindness, and mercy in Your eyes and in the eyes of all who see me.
Bestow upon me bountiful kindness.
Birkat HaTorah (Blessings Over Torah Study):
• Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to engage in the words of Torah.
• Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who chose us from all the nations and gave us His Torah.
Blessed are You, Lord, giver of the Torah.
Priestly Blessing (from Numbers 6:22–27):
The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying:
Thus shall you bless the children of Israel, saying to them:
• May the Lord bless you and guard you.
• May the Lord shine His face upon you and be gracious to you.
• May the Lord lift His face to you and give you peace.
So shall they place My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.
